Holy and Loving God, the world spins into insanity and depravity around me. People portray what is right to be wrong, what it sacred to be defiled, and what is wrong to be right. Justice dies in the streets as the divide between us widens. Satan truly seeks his advantage. Help your beloved, Father God, … Read more
Heavenly Father, Sovereign God and Merciful Savior, your Word is truth. What you say never returns empty results. I admit to bewilderment as I read of the woman and the dragon, the great sign appearing in heaven, the birth of the child who is taken to his throne and the prepared place in the wilderness … Read more
El Elyon, God over all, there is none like you. Who can stand before the one who binds the four angels at the great Euphrates river for the time of the sixth trumpet? Who can measure the temple? Who allows the nations to trample the courts and the holy city for forty-two months? You send … Read more
Almighty Omnipotent God, you are He who lives forever. You created heaven and what is in it. You created the earth and the seas and what is in them. Jehovah Hashapet, you are the God our judge. Does it accentuate the sobering … Read more
Almighty, Everlasting Father, you are Jehovah, the Great I Am. There is none like you who goes out for the salvation of your beloved. That is why I see hope in John’s vision of the seventh seal opened. Before the angel fills the censor with the altar’s fire and casts it to earth, before the … Read more
To my Gracious Savior, to the only one who can cleanse and save, the multitudes sing your praise. The beloved exalt your name before your throne, together with the elders and in concert with the angel chorus. You shepherd your people. You lead them to living water. You wipe away all tears. They no longer … Read more
Holy God, my salvation belongs to you, and to the Lamb. I am sealed with your Holy Spirit, awaiting the return of Jesus. You, who spoke and created, hold the scroll and control the future. You put the angels at the four corners. They are at your command. You alone are sovereign and in control. … Read more
Anointed One, righteous and ruling, your name is Wonderful and your power is great. The timing of the scroll and the release of the seals is unknown to us. The consequences and judgments read like a glimpse of hell. Lord, your promise of salvation is my only hope. I take heed to your warnings to … Read more
