Drops of Joy – A Devotional Journey of Healing — Update 5
We all face a wilderness period now and again that takes all the energy and faith we can muster to overcome. Life is not fair. Life is hard, but God is our constant refuge and comfort. Focus on Him instead of your circumstance. Remember, Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water to Jesus, until he became distracted by the boisterous water under him. Still, Jesus heeded Peter’s cry to be saved.
Don’t let what roils around you to distract you from Jesus.

Joy S. Taylor is a follower of Christ, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She led a divorce recovery support group sponsored by her church for seven years, and spent more than a decade in leadership roles for Celebrate Recovery, using what God had done in her life to point others to the healing only Jesus gives.
