Father, thank You for the new covenant that washes away our sins through the power of the blood of Jesus. Our Lord and Savior, the fate of humanity turns on the axis of Your resurrection and the manifold grace and redemption it seals upon believers. We come to praise You for making us new in Christ. We pray that those who don’t know You will come to a saving relationship with You. Jesus, we bow to the sovereignty and magnitude of Your mercy in Your precious name and powerful authority, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.
“‘For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days’, says the LORD: ‘I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, “Know the LORD,” for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.’ In that He says, ‘A new covenant,’ He has made the first obsolete. Joy S Taylor is a follower of Christ, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her workdays were spent using the Master of Science in Accounting degree that God graciously allowed at the age of, well, greater than 40. She led a divorce recovery support group sponsored by her church for seven years, and spent more than a decade in leadership roles for Celebrate Recovery and Care Net, using what God had done in her life to point others to the healing only Jesus gives. Now retired, she concentrates on writing for Jesus from her beloved hickory grove in Indiana, yet devotes some of her time to volunteering.
