Almighty Everlasting Father, you are Jehovah Hashopet, the LORD our judge. You are holy and just. There is no other like you. You take what men mean for evil and turn it to your glory. Caiaphas thought he was removing a political thorn from his side. You used the death Caiaphas desired to glorify Jesus … Read more
Today is a beautiful day, because “And God, who knows the heart, bore witness to them, by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us, and he made no distinction between us and them, having cleansed their hearts by faith.” (Acts 15:9-10 ESV) Faith #joyinverse #blessedthisdayandeveryday
Father God, I’m just musing over these two verses breathed by your Spirit through the pen of John. Why would Peter attack the servant and not the high priest? Today is a beautiful day, because “He listened to Paul speaking. And Paul, looking intently at him and seeing that he had faith to be made well, said in a loud voice, ‘Stand upright on your feet.’ And he sprang up and began walking.” (Acts 14:9-10 ESV) Faith #joyinverse #blessedthisdayandeveryday
Lord, spread our love for one another as believers, so that all will know we are of the Father’s household. Bolster our unity. Ignite your purpose within us to spread the message that the world may believe that you were sent by the Father, the Almighty God. Grant us the power to be faithful witnesses … Read more
