Father God, you are greater than anything. You are ruler of everything. You are creator of all that is or will be. Teach me to speak your words like you taught Ezekiel. Give me the boldness to speak them like you gave it to Ezekiel. I just asked for a hard journey, didn’t I. Help me with the language of those whom you send my way. Let me put your words into easily understood sentences. Help me to keep your message simple and straight forward. Allow it to be like an arrow to pierce hardened hearts. Soften them with your loving kindness. Turn them to Jesus. I ask these things in the name and authority of your only Son, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“For you are not sent to a people of foreign speech and a hard language, but to the house of Israel— not to many peoples of foreign speech and a hard language, whose words you cannot understand. Surely, if I sent you to such, they would listen to you.” (Ezekiel 3:5-6 ESV)
