Heavy stuff is going down, Lord. People express opinions I ponder, but can’t relate to deeply, simply because I don’t have personal experience. Here is what I do know, Father. I trust in your word and in your perfect justice. I know I am to walk in a manner worthy of your calling. I want to walk in humility, in gentleness and patience, bearing with those I don’t understand or may differ with in love. Show me how to effect change according to your will, in your power and by your love and strength–not my own. Teach me how to point to Jesus, the author of truth and justice. He experienced the persecution I have not. He experienced the humiliation and injustice I have not. He walked the path of forgiveness and changed eternity. Thank you, Lord Jesus. It is by your name and authority I pray, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” (Ephesians 4:1-3 ESV)
