Heavenly Father, Abba, Daddy, help me with my unbelief. Forgive my moments of discouragement in ministry. They are fleeting, but you are faithful to delete them from my thoughts. The doubt flees each time I see a blessing pops out of something you asked me to do. This work on your behalf gets dry once in a while, but you always refresh me and show me the work is not in vain. Some efforts take years, Father. They are years of your perfect timing, and I get anxious to see the fruit. Remind me it isn’t always for me to see the harvest, but only to plant the seed. It is not my job to do the saving, only to point others to Jesus and let your Holy Spirit do his job. Keep me praying for the children. Remind me not to give up on those who don’t know the joy of your salvation. Don’t let any discouragement take away the blessing of seeing a smile from a broken and wounded heart as they move closer to recovery through Jesus. I ask these things in the name and authority of the one who’s story changes the world, Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.” (2 Corinthians 9:10 ESV)
