Holy Spirit, walk with me through Scripture today. Remove the mundane. Highlight the exceptional aspects of this Word that is living and breathing. There is no status quo with what it says. Each time I think I get it, you show me something new. Father, reach those willing to accept status quo and give them thirst for more of you. More of your truth satisfies their every need. More of your love fills the crevices in their hearts. More of your hope brightens their day. More of Jesus and the joy of your salvation lasts through eternity. Father, forgive my complacency and replace it with zeal. Revive my soul. I ask these things in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
