Father, I called your name aloud from the depths of despair, from the bottom of the pit, and you heard my prayer. You came near when you heard me call, and you said “Do not fear.” You are the one true God. There is none like you. You took up my case, and you redeemed my life. You set me free from the torments that oppressed my spirit and transplanted your own Holy Spirit that testifies with my own of just how great you are. You did this so that I would not rely on myself, but upon you, the Holy God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. My hope is in you, and you will continue to deliver us. Praises to you, God. Praises to your Son, Jesus, the Christ. Praises to the Holy Spirit, who lives in me. I pray in the name and authority of Jesus, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen
” He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again.” (2 Corinthians 1:10 ESV)
