Father, sustain joy in me today. You are the author of the pure joy of your salvation. Show me how to abide in you that your joy is in me and that my joy is complete. Make it a stubborn joy, Father, an immovable state of being. Create in me a heart full of thanks for all you do. You bless my days with watching you at work. Forgive my moments of trepidation and withdrawal from these present dark days. Let me see past the current events and smoke of evil to see your shining light. You are my rock and my salvation. I praise your holy name, Father, in the authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
