I’m guilty, Lord God. I’ve let anger and ridicule drive my tongue. I ask your forgiveness, because I have failed you. I ask that your Holy Spirit take my words and push them past my Scripture filter before they come out of my mouth. I ask that I speak only encouragement and uplifting words. I ask that there be less of me and more of you in all I do in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and prefect will. Be glorified in the outcome, Father. Amen.

“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.” (Ephesians 4:29 ESV)
