Holy Spirit, you know me better than I know myself. Open my heart, mind and soul to prevent me from falling into prejudice and partiality. Bring the facts to light, and let me see all the necessary angles of a situation prior to my action or decision. Every story has at least two sides, and perhaps more facets on each side. Bring the full truth to the surface before me. Remind me to seek counsel from you and to be open to your wisdom that passes anything I could muster. I desire to remain within God’s good pleasure. I ask with humility and reverence for my God in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
