Lord Jesus, David sang of the shield of your salvation. I think on the joy of your salvation. You cover me with your righteous robe. You shield me in the storms of life. You give me the surety of relationship with you through your Holy Spirit in the land of the living and forever with you when I come into your glory to see you face-to-face. I bend my knee to your goodness and bow my spirit to your holiness. I raise my hands in awe in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your gentleness made me great. You gave a wide place for my steps under me, and my feet did not slip;” (2 Samuel 22: 36-37 ESV)
