Dearest LORD God, sealer of my future and redeemer of my past, there is no one better to spend time with. Let me abide safely within your will today. Grant me your abundant joy by the power of your Holy Spirit, as I abide quietly with you. Teach me to follow your statutes while I worship who you are.
Quiet Worship
When I sit quietly
That’s when you talk to me
You say I am worthy
You speak of my beauty
You pass our time together
Pointing to forever
Sometimes, I do all the talking
Petitioning and pleading
But when I do, I can’t hear you
Your voice is soft
Your words entreating
For my silence
So you can talk to me
When I sit quietly
