Almighty, everlasting Father, things changed on the day You spoke to Moses. Moses became God’s spokesperson, with Aaron as his prophet. Pharaoh’s hold on the slaves broke. Israel saw their God’s response to Pharaoh’s stubborn refusal to let the Israelites go. Father, I help me to hear your voice. Let me understand the gravity of your message. Let me not dig my heals in and be stiff-necked when You give me instructions. Open my heart to those who need to know You more. I ask for your grace and forgiveness when I fail You. I pray in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
