Father, Jeremiah praised You in prayer, saying there is nothing too hard for you. Ten verses later, You asked him if anything is too hard for You. I’ve been puzzling that. Why would You turn around his words into a question? Are You asking if he truly believed what he prayed? Do I actually believe what I say in prayer? Oh, I want to say ‘yes,’ unequivocally, but Father, I don’t want to be pretentious or shallow when I pray. I want to be in honest and deep conversation with my Heavenly Father. Keep me honest in my prayers in the name and authority of Jesus. I pray according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32: 27 ESV)
