Father, the cloak of lies is thick, and it’s difficult to discern truth. You see through the refuge of lies swirling around us. You have the power to set truth apart and sweep away the lies. Let your light shine to guide us. May we stand upon the foundation of your Word. May we look to the tested cornerstone as our sure foundation. May Jesus lead in this era of confusion and obfuscation. I pray in His name and authority, this Jesus our Savior, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“therefore thus says the Lord God, ‘Behold, I am the one who has laid as a foundation sin Zion, a stone, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, of a sure foundation: “Whoever believes will not be in haste.” And I will make justice the line, and righteousness the plumb line; and hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and waters will overwhelm the shelter.'” (Isaiah 28: 16-17 ESV)
