Lord Jesus, You are the light of my world. You are my strength when I stumble. You are the foundation and balance of my life. You are the way, the truth and the life. I worship You in spirit and truth. O, to think of the impact on the woman at the well when she heard these words, “I who speak to you am He.” You and she were face-to-face in this fallen world, speaking about living water and never thirsting again. I long for the day when my faith becomes my sight. Thank You for sustaining me this side of heaven. Thank You for welcoming me to your side of heaven when that day comes. Forgive me when I fail You, Lord. I bring my praise in your name and authority, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.
“‘But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.’ The woman said to Him, ‘I know that Messiah is coming’ (who is called Christ). ‘When He comes, He will tell us all things.’ Jesus said to her, ‘I who speak to you am He.’” (John 4: 23-26 NKJV)
