Lord Jesus, thank You for removing me from the tug of vanity versus humility. You made Yourself of no reputation to take the form of man. You obeyed, humbled Yourself to the point of death on the cross all for my sake. Thank You for defining my personal worth by the price You paid to redeem my sin. You are my kinsman redeemer. You set my value that is written on the stone that rolled away from Your tomb: Your life for my sin. You have called me fellow heir and friend. You guide my days and illuminate the dark corners of my nights. You are always with me. You alone are worthy of my thanksgiving and praise. May Your name be glorified in this season as I celebrate You as the Savior of mankind, the Light of the World, Emmanuel, God with us. I pray in Your name that is exalted above all others, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.
“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9 NKJV)
