Heavenly Father, you are the God of provision. You are Jehovah Jireh. I ask today that you fill the place to which you call us with energy, wisdom and unlimited joy. Let us love the work we do in your name. Let us rise every morning in expectation of what great deeds we will see you perform. Let us not weary in the day-to-day, but always look toward the identity and purpose you create for us. Renew and revive us toward your goals. Quicken our steps to accomplish what you put before us. I ask these things in the name and authority of Jesus, who knew what lay ahead and proceeded anyway, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, ‘My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.’” (Matthew 26: 39 ESV)
