O Gracious God and Heavenly Father, you are the God who sees me. You are the God who gives me the desires of my heart. My deepest need is to love and be loved, to know and be known. Jesus, you are the only one who knows me better than I know myself and who loves me with a deeper and longer-lasting eternal love than any other can offer. Your love is the only thing I take into heaven with me when I leave this world. There is nothing on this earth that I desire more than you. Whom have I in heaven but you, Lord? Whom have I who transcends both earth and heaven but you? Whom have I who paid for my sin and reconciled me to the Father, but you, Jesus? Only you. I delight myself in you. I thank you in the name and authority of Jesus, the Christ, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.
