Oh, Father God, the older I get and the more drastic the circumstance around me, the easier I fall into confusion and I don’t know what to do. Thank you for the children’s lyrics, “I am week, but you are strong.” Turn my face to look to Jesus. Tune my ears to hear the Holy Spirit speak. Tackle my problems with the knowledge of my living and all-powerful God. Remind me that you watch to see your word performed. Like King Jehoshaphat, I may not know what to do, but my eyes are on you, Lord. You go out for the salvation of those who love and seek you. I stand on your promises. I thank you in the name and authority of Jesus, who stands in the gap for all of us, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
