Father, can we but touch the hem of the your robe that fills the temple? Can we hear the melody and know the lyrics of the songs you sing over us? Will you hear our prayer, Father? Will you bless us? Will you rain down such grace so sweet and precious that our hearts cannot contain it all and must share it with others. Father, can we know this heart of yours and be your sons and daughters? For, you have promised all these things. We turn to you, we come to you, we ask, we believe, we receive. I praise your generosity and your majesty in the matchless name of Jesus, our savior. I ask these things, and I thank you according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17 ESV)
