Almighty God, you created time and the rhythm of our days. Sometimes I forget the easy peaceful and healthy beat of your days and nights. I confuse the pressure of my clock and to-do list with what you intended: tick, tick, tick, do, do, do, go, go, go, be, be, be….Remind me to make time for sitting in your presence and enjoying the closeness of our relationship. I desire you, first. Let the accomplishments fall as they may, only according to your will. Let me rise with love for you in my heart and appreciation for each new day. Forgive my falling prey to the crush of life. Allow me to dance through the ebb and flow of my days, partnering with your Holy Spirit. I ask these things in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
