Father God, remind us there is one true God, one saving faith, one Christ, one salvation and one foundation. As you are one with Jesus and he is one with us, we are one with the body of Christ. Let us stand together as one team of servants with one purpose that glorifies you. May we put aside wrangling, selfish contention and strife among us. It not only robs us of productivity and progress, but it also kills our ability as witnesses. They will know we are disciples by the love we show one another. Holy Spirit, put your mighty working power to the task of protecting our unity and preserving our mission. Forgive us our pettiness and squabbling. Refresh our desire and motivation. Show us the goal once again and move us forward together. I ask in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
