Almighty God, you are the God of all flesh. Holy Spirit, you are the changer of hearts and minds. Jesus, you are the savior of souls. I come to you, asking for the proper words in the proper context and in the proper language, that will pierce through the hardest hearts and plant your seed of faith. Help me understand the needs that open communication in those I serve. Guide me to the places of deepest hurt and anger to bring the message of your healing and freedom. Teach me to speak only of your grace and glory. I ask in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will, Father.
“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
