Only by your mercy, Father, do I live and breathe. Only by your mercy am I able. I am powerless without them to come anywhere close to Paul’s admonition to me to present myself as a living sacrifice. Only by the covering of the Savior’s righteousness am I holy and acceptable to God. Only by the grace of your salvation may I worship you. Only in the joy of your salvation do I go about the daily routines with purpose, resolution and hope. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Jesus. I praise you in the name and authority of Jesus, who transformed wrath to grace on my behalf, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” (Romans 12:1 ESV)
