Gracious God, help me in my conversations to speak more of you. In those exchanges that I feel blocked and shut out, open a door for your message to flow through. Loosen my tongue to tell of your glory in the tense moments when my spirit senses hostility against the gospel. Do it in a way that speaks peace and love. Though my words don’t measure up, let my countenance and grace speak for you. Keep me steadfast in the Word. Don’t let my position be moved from your solid teaching. Uplift my heart, for your message doesn’t return void and my work is not unprofitable. Your Holy Spirit testifies within my spirit. Keep me on track. Keep me motivated. Keep me speaking. I ask these things in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
