Father God, your Word has answers for all our woes and struggles. You speak to the struggling Christian and the struggling church. Joy, unspeakable joy and hope, indescribable hope, come on us, abide in us, fill us to overflowing and shine from us like the beacon on a hill. Let it draw those to us who have no hope. Let it bubble up from us to overflow onto those who cannot muster any joy in their lives. Let your joy and the joy of your salvation be the factor that draws the un-churched into the church. Draw your children into the fold by their desire for unquenchable joy and indestructible peace. Father, let your church and your people abound in hope by the power of your Holy Spirit. May this be our watchword and our objective. I ask in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
