My life is like a revolving door, Father. People join me in my circular travels, then step out and go on their way. In for a few go-rounds, then gone, back for a few more, then gone. I just get used to them being with me when it’s time for them to go. The transitions aren’t easy, Lord, but there is always one constant in the equation: you. You never leave, and continue with me on my daily rotations. You take every step with me. Let others see your presence in me as they come into my revolving door. Make them know something special resides here as we make the rounds together. Help me use the contrast in sharing my story of you. Let them leave a little closer to you than when they entered. I ask these things in the name and authority of Jesus, who promised he would never leave nor forsake, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20 ESV)
