Oh, Lord, who many times have I, like Pilate, stared truth in the face and asked, “what is truth?” Forgive me, a sinner in need of saving. You are the way, the truth and the life. You are truth personified, incarnate. Let me hear your voice! Grant me boldness to speak of your glory, mercy and grace. I ask in your name above all names, according to the god and perfect will of the Father. Amen.
“Then Pilate said to him, ‘So you are a king?’ Jesus answered, ‘You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.’” (John 18:37 ESV)
