Prayer for Today

Jehovah Jireh, our provider, you are the God who sees our needs. You are the God who hears our prayers and answers accordingly with your will for us. Our work for your kingdom poses difficult challenges that require your intervention. Lord, you hear our cries. Open the flood gates and pour out your resources to the point we have no choice but to acknowledge they come from you. Reach out your mighty arm and comfort those who struggle daily with lack of supplies, workers and energy to keep going. Encourage their hearts with your vision of the value of their work. Allow them to take one step and then another to the achieve the daily goal. Strengthen their resolve to keep going and not give up, even in the most dire of circumstances. I ask your special blessing upon them in the name and authority of Jesus, who kept moving toward the cross and not away from it, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
