The birds come to nest, and the deer shed their winter coats, and the world continues to turn under this great burden of invisible threat. Who is in control? Who knows the outcome? What is truth? Where is it found? In whom can I trust? Only in you do I put my faith, dear Lord. My past is forgiven in you. My present throbs daily in you. My future shines brightly in you, for your are my shelter and refuge. I hide myself under your wings of hope, love and protection for my soul. I praise you in this clear and present danger, knowing you are in control. You know where this all ends. You are truth; and you alone are worthy. I lift my hands in gratitude and worship in your name above all names, Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“Let me dwell in your tent forever! Let me take refuge under the shelter of your wings! Selah” (Psalm 61:4 ESV)
