Father, forgive me, because I am stubborn. I am stiff-necked. Turn those to your glory, Lord. Let my stubbornness apply only to holding onto your joy, for you give everlasting joy. Nothing can take it away from me, unless I allow it. Nothing clouds the path between you and me, unless I allow it. You are never-changing. You are always the same. You are always there. You are my rock and my salvation. There is no one like you. Let me experience the joy of your salvation. Let it ring in my heart and dance on my heartstrings forever, for you have provided. I ask these things in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“And the ransomed of the LORD shall return and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.” (Isaiah 35:10 and 51:11 ESV)
