Father God, I feel like I’m under the microscope at times. My thoughts, my prayers, my actions and my lifestyle under scrutiny as a follower of Jesus. Remind me that I walk, covered in the robes of righteousness, and it is not by my doing, but only because of Jesus. When you look at me, you don’t see my sin. As Paul said, there isn’t anything good in me. Any good that people see comes from Christ. When you look at me, Father, you see the spotless robe of Jesus that covers me. You washed me whiter than snow. You use my tainted past for the greater good and for your glory. You are marvelous in your grace. I praise you in the name and authority of Jesus, who washed my sin away, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

” I will greatly rejoice in the LORD; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.” (Isaiah 61:10 ESV)
